Which ignition system

The S&S Silver Saxon turbo I have is fitted with the Z1000A1 engine (1978) and is still on the original points system.
I would like to go over to some form of electronic ignition system but wondered what would fit off other Kawasaki models. I know that the Dyna 'S' system is fit & forget, and is exceedingly good value but am open to offers should anyone have spare pulsars & box to sell. As for the wiring it's no problem, I've been wiring bikes for 27 years.
Many thanks, Will

If you use a Dyna 2000 system you can program adv/ret curves for turbo.Like Jack says use Z1 enterprises.

With a turbo motor you will need to run your ignition retarded around 10 degrees - this helps avoid detonation.

The Dyna 2000 is a nice unit - out of the box you have a selection of retard settings. But if you really want to play, Dyna provides a programming kit to allow very precise ignition curve settings. The other big plus is a built-in rev limiter - a very nice feature with a turbo bike.

On my turbo bike, I run either 8 or 12 degrees depending on air temperature. On very hot days I use the 12 degree setting, but on cooler days I run 8 degrees - very easy to change - just a selection knob on the unit.

Go for the Dyna 2000 mate
the 'S' is a good unit but for a turbo fit the 2000

as said above - retard - rev limiter - boost retard AND you can run 1ohm coils
