Bought some geniune Kawa oil level sight glass's, as you know they go smokey, but how do you replace them.
Appears you smash them out and glue in?
Any help appreciated. Hench

Didn't know they went smokey !
This is how I did mine so - Couple of assumptions
it is for a Z1
&
the clutch cover is already removed!

The old one should push out (use a socket or similar if necessary)
Make sure the area is clean
Apply a thin smear of gasket silicon sealant to the rubber edge of the new sight glass
Refit - Push it gently in place - observing correct orientation
Remove any surplus sealant
Give the sealant chance to set
Refit the cover

There are a couple of articles on this if you 'search forum'

Cheers
Kevin

Hench, the important thing is (as Z1Rt311 says) push "out". You must push it out from the inside, hence, you must remove cover to do this job.

Sorry Z1RT311, didn't explain myself properly, to much of a hurry.

Z1B cover off (of course :) )

I have a couple spare covers, was ready to lay into it, smash 1 out and see what holds it in, thought better check in first.

Job all done now, newbie fitted.

Thanks all, 36 degree's now, going to jump in pool for few hours. :D Hench
