Chris Rivett does a fair bit of work for customers overseas - you could try him.

That was a very rare NOS 1972 speedo. Worth every penny if you're restoring a very early Z1.

Early Z1 speedo on left. More common type on the right.

The one on the right has a lighter face plate? or is it faded? The lettering looks the same size. Whats the real diff?
As far as I know there were no 72s in the US

Who is that and how can he be contacted?

The white line at the "20" increment is at the base of the "20" on the 72 speedo. It is placed in the middle on the later type. These are commonly referred to as 72 and 73 speedos but the fact is that quite a large number of Z1 built in late 72 have what is called the 73 speedo. I "think" that the 72 type would be found on the first couple of thousand Z1's but don't have a definitive answer as to the cut off date or number.

Go look at the link I posted in the EBay section. Did the seller know what he had?

No, he didn't know. In fact, the winning bidder may not even know
