My Z is refusing to start after this cold weather. I have checked plugs and all giving a good spark . Also fuel is getting through OK as the plugs are wet . It has fired a couple of times but now nothing,
Any ideas would be much appreciated,
Thanks
Roger

Hi If she was running ok before laying up have you been starting her up regulary? this may have fouled plugs would try new set first plus fresh fuel seems to go off very quickly now, also if its damp where you keep bike turn her over in the dark and look to see if there is any sparks tracking to earth through damp aslo make sure battery is fully charged and voltage not decaying(voltage wise) too much when cranking engine over,Cheers Paul J..

The pin on the end of the crankshaft sheared (locates the auto advance and cam assembly) on mine... lots of sparkz but all in the wrong place. Took me a while to figure this one out!!
