Storage insurance fire and theft cover only

Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will do storage insurance for streetfighters? I've tried my existing insurance company (A-quote), Adrian Flux, Carole Nash and Swinton and whilst all are happy to quote me for a collection on fully comprehensive no one will quote for just fire and theft whilst they are all off the road. Carole Nash will do storage but only on non-modified bikes not anything like mine that have been adjusted.
Any suggestions?

would it not be better to just insure it normally, and stop worrying about it,knowing its insured is piece of mind.

it is after all a 12month policy we buy int it.

£500 is a lot of money for something you are not going to use for at least 6 months.
If I insure TPF & T i then cant upgrade to comprehensive when they do go back on road. I have to cancel the policy, pay a fee and then reinsure.

try footman james or lynbrook both in cmm mag.
y not leave it on a standard on the road cover as you'll get your no claims
bonus' up as insurance company's print money there would not be much in price

FJ do 'laid up' policies for classics. They're bout 25% cheaper than full.
Not sure about Streetfighters though

E-bike used to do a fully comp ins that you could reduce to fire/theft in winter.

Hi Martin,
I'm with Carol Nash. Been there 16 years.
I've got a "classic bike " policy with them.
On it is 8 bikes. All but 1 are Fully Comp, 2 are agreed.
The one that's not FC is a Yamaha XS650 Special which is being restored at the moment (and has been for nearly 2 years now) !!. I told CN it is not on the road and I would tell them when it was going to be ready for the road. It is down as ADFT which I believe stands for accidental damage fire and theft ? This cover EXCLUDES road use.
I think this cover would possibly suit you??

Hi Martin,
Just read your letter again.
£500 ?? The policy I mentioned on previous letter is only £198 per year. It was £148 but it went up another £50 last month when I added a 1973 Z1.
