Hi All,
got a bit of up-down play in my rear wheel and suspect the cush rubbers need renewing.
Anybody any idea where they can sourced from as they are no longer listed.
Many Thanks
Colin

save yourself some money and cut up an old inner tube into suitable sized segments and bond to old cush drives. It packs them out just right. This was a tip I picked up on this forum some time ago by other members and it works fine.

if the cush drive rubbers are worn you will be able to rock the sprocket carrier back and forward in the wheel and you can fix it as z2.john says and it works, but if its up and down play i would check wheel bearings

As has been said if the play is up and down your problem must be wheel bearings, the inner tube fix works a treat, I stick them on with a low modulas silicone just in case of any movement.

Its def play in the cush drive so I will have a go at the inner tube trick.
Stil a bit surprised you can no longer buy them and no patterns are available.
Many thanks all.
Cheers

Try Z-Power I'm not sure about the Z650 but pattern ones are available for the bigger Zeds for about £70 which is a lot more expensive than a piece of tube.
