first question - the one supplied is 2.0 but ones fitted are 2.3 - will that make a difference? (pretty sure that is the diameter of the hole)
And if that worries me, and it does a bit, would be ok if I drill it out to 2.3 mm?
And still a slow drip. ARSE!!

So that ruled out the needle vavle - in fact I had cleaned up the old one but wasn't sure that did the trick.
So I take off the float bowl, fill it with petrol, put finger over the end of the long thin brass tube and blow into the hose. And guess what??? sodding bubbles!!!!

Basically there is a tiny pin hole - I cannot see it with my eyes

So WTF do I do?

Solder? Heatshrink? I guess this part is not replaceable so would I be looking for a replpacement float bowl if I do not want to fix by any of the above methods?
Realy want to kick myself in the bollocks as it would have saved a few quid on 2 unnecessary kits, ebay them?
Anyways good news, for it is worth, at least the fault has been found.
Long shot but don't suppose anyone has or know where I can get one float chamber cylinder no.4 - the one next to your right leg - Z1000 A1 VM 26 carbs?
