Anybody help with tyre pressures for my z1r which has 18inch front and rear tyres. Bike handling like a pig at 80mph. Any ideas

I have always stuck with Front 28 and rear 32psi
Metzeler Tyres

No problems

(Increase rear pressure up to 35-36 if carrying pillion)

It's also worth checking steering head bearings and swinging arm bearings for play. [and wheel bearings too].

I have BT45 tyres on my Z1-R and run 38 in the back, that go rid of a lot of problems, but you should check the shock's, i also put progessive springs in the front, just the hinge in the frame to sort out next.

Agree entirely with all of the above regarding pressures and bearings. Mine handles fine. Got steering damper on but not really sure if that's contributing anything or not. Got taper roller bearings in the steering head also. :)
