Harrison calipers and silicone brake fluid, help!

Hello all,
I`ve had a Harrison 4 piston caliper on my Z1R for a few years now, it never really worked that well so a while back i got a Brembo master cylinder and used silicone brake fluid, still wasn`t brilliant. I may have found out why, i now have brake fluid leaking through the gaps in the caliper halves when pulling on the lever. Do these calipers have seals between the 2 halves or are they a bare face fit? And anyone had problems using silicone brake fluid?
I don`t know if it`s down to the new caliper, the brake fluid or just general wear, i`ll be calling Harrisons to see what they think. But if anyone here has any ideas i`d be interested in hearing them, thankyou!

the bloke I bough them off had emigrated. !! This was ages ago - I'm sure yours aren't that old. Ken Harrison doesn't run the company any nore he was bought over by another firm. It was quite a few years ago when I had those apart I'mm 99% certain they have a seal between the halves. It's possible it's the silicone that's done them in. I'm sure Rich will have a theory.
