Gearbox swop?

Can a Gpz 1100 Unitrak G`box fit into Z900 engine?Any Mods` required?
I don`t recommend it, there are quite a few mods needed, and after my attemp shat itself for the second time (mainly down to poor shimming though to be honest) i gave up and gave it to Ray Debben. He said they are a pain in the arse, and better off sticking with the Z box and getting it beefed up if you are racing (billet 2nd gear, under cut, etc).
I`m sure someone else will come along and say 'bollocks' though.......
