Could anyone help with jet sizes and settings to run K&N filters on standard carbs.

I can't remember what yours carbs are like. If they're the same pattern as the earlier Z1000 you'll need to add a smaller air jet that leads to the needle jet. I can give you the dimensions or do it for you if you'd like.
Below is a pic and closeup showing the new jet.

I've just got a set of GS850 carbs to do the same job on.
