Hi, my z1000 dropped onto 2 cylinders on the way to work this morning, it's lost the outside 2. I swapped the plugleads outer for inner and swapped the trigger wire to the coils and the other coil will work the middle cylinders so it's not the coil. It's got a dyna s ignition which all looks ok under the cover. Any ideas? The Dyna s is less than 2000 miles old.

You did not say if you checked the plugs themselves?

Yes, checked the plugs. All ok. I think the Dyna s sensor for 1 & 4 must be shot.

wire not come loose perhaps .................

have you had the tank off to check ?

Well I narrowed the fault down to the Dyna S sensor on the crank. Dynatek are the agents so I rang them. I told them that it was 2 or 3 years old but only fitted recently and they said send it to them for testing.

They have sent me a new one free of charge.

Big thankyou to Dynatek!!

Buy some stuff off them!!
