z650 forks

will a set of z650 forks fit a z900
or if not will the chrome stanchions fit into existing 900 fork botttoms.

Not sure about swapping stanchions and bottoms ~(probably ok but never done it) My 650 runs ex z900 forks and you can put 650 yokes in 9's and 1000's to make them stear quicker so the forks are a straight swap over.
