Brown wire from regulator?

I have a GPZ 550 rectifier/regulator unit
it has 6 wires - just really need confirmation that nothing will go pop when I fit it
- the brown wire from the regulator in KZ100 wiring diagram (European models) puzzles me ....
regulator wires
3 yellow - these are the ones to the 3 phase generator (connect to pink/blue/yellow)
black - 0 V (connects to black or yellow/black)
red/white - to positive of battery (this connect to white)
brown - switched 12 V? - connect to brown?
is that correct?
the brown wire on the GPZ550 wiring diagram does something similar to the Z1000 brwon wire in that it goes to the intstrument bulbs and the ignition switch .... 's gotta be the same ...
