Hi all,
I am going to get some tapered headrace bearings, and wondered which make is best, I have been on a website someone mentioned here a while back, they list the koyo at £8.99 and skf at £14.46 + vat, they are both japanese, should I go for the cheaper one or dearer one, koyo is japanese, so should be ok, or is there a better make, or are most bearing makes ok?

'Kin 'ell Andy, you a "tight-wad" or summink :?:

The difference is only a couple of quid, and odds-on, you get what you pay for.... So go for the EXPENSIVE buggers  Push the boat out, I say

Hi,

Of all the stuff i have chucked at my bikes over the years taper bearings are with out doubt the best cheap mod to do.

Or go to a good bearing stockist, they would be able to give good advice and do you a good deal
