It sounds like they need bleeding a bit more, have you refilled the master cylinder resevoire?

The fluid can be reluctant to go down the fresh bore of the hose.

Keep tapping the hose and dont open the bleed nipple until you get some resistance.

Yep have filled it.
The nipple on the far side of the calipar, is that for bleeding?
I had a nipple on the banjo bolt but the new one doesnt have that!

yes the blead nipple is on the caliper, keep bleeding it until no air bubbles come out,you can buy brake bleeding tubes cheap, just put it on the nipple, loosen the nipple off and pump the brake.they have a one way valve in so no need to keep tightening the nipple after every time you pump the brake.

Si,

Keep pumping through the pedal, also try getting a syringe and pumping through the bleed nipple back to the resevoir,

My Z1000 A1 was the same it took me a week on and off to bleed it

keep pumping the pedal up and down, have you undone the nipple about half a turn?also have you put the washers on the banjo bolts?are they tight?

All done nice and tight with the washers.
Have left it with pedal wedged down and nipple closed to see if that helps.

Take the bleed nipple out and make sure the holes in the nipple are not blocked with crap .

Si,

Same problem here previously and i cheated.

Get your self a syringe -like the ones you can buy at any good bike show the one i use holds about 1/8 of a pint

Put a short pipe on the end of it and attach it to the bleed nipple on the caliper and suck fluid out of the caliper until you have good fluid coming out

or

release the nipple and pump clean fluid back up the pipe to the master cylinder (make sure that you catch the excess fluid in a rag), tighten up the nippple when you think you have good fluid right through.

Try it --i hope it works good for you

remove the nipple compleatly and make sure the valve is clear of yuck . carefully with fuse wire or simular . then blow it clear . put back in . and try again . it wont do any harm to pump with the nipple out to make sure there is no more crap in the cylinder . make sure you have plenty of rag around it just in case . if that dosent work remove the master cylinder cap and atach a tube to the nipple and pump oil in reverse . useing the stysem discrabed else were in the outher replys .
