I have had a front end bump which has bent the forks and yokes, I have managed to get the stanchions repaired. Can anyone advise if it is possible to reset the yokes, the bottom one is twisted the most, the top is very slightly if twisted if at all - regards Jacobmarley

Standard yokes are cast (I believe) so not a good idea to try & straighten

Yes I think your right the top ones seem to be an aluminium alloy, the bottom ones look like cast iron/steel, any idea if new ones are available anywhere ? - Thanks Jacobmarley

Funnily enough, the top and bottom yokes are not that strong, I have found, they can be bent back into position. I'm not sure if the lower triple clamp is cast iron, I think maybe it is forged cast steel. My method of bending back was using a discarded fork tube clamped in position by the 12mm bolt with the lower triple tree held in a vice. These fork tubes are, indeed, strong.
