Front Disc Caliper Brackets

I've noticed a few zeds with brackets that allow wheels with smaller discs to be used with z1/z900 forks. Coldsummer's project is a good example.

I've never seen these for sale anywhere. Anyone know of someone that makes/sells these?

Z1 forks with Z900 calipers.

That`s the only thing I see there.

The problem is the correct bracket for the Z1 series is jolly expensive, so I s`pose people just use the later calipers ?

Maybe I'm missing something here :??

If I look at the fork and caliper on coldsummer's bike I see a black bracket that connects the caliper to the fork. This is doing two things 1) the caliper mounting holes are further apart than on the fork and 2) the disc fitted to this bike has a smaller diameter than was originally intended for these forks.

I need something similar so I can fit a z650 alloy wheel and disks to my z900 forks. Can anyone help?

My mistake

There must be some dural brackets fitted. Most engineer type bike shops should point you in the right direction.

Or someone that supplies special calipers.
