hi all i bought a combined reg/rec for a 1980 kz1000 ltd does any one know for certain what other models it`s compatible with? Thankyou

dont know if this is any help zeroed, this is the one z1 enterprizes sell for the 1980 z1000ltd, says it fits these also. http://www.z1enterprises.com/detail.aspx?ID=1731

Thanks Mick, that`s where i should`ve thought of looking :oops:

was hoping unit would also fit z1000 a1,2 etc, tho i guess wirings different for US bikes with lights permanently on. Electrics aren`t my strong point, to say the least.

It'll probably fit yours if you alter the wiring, usually three yellow to stator, brown voltage sensing, black earth, white or red/white to battery.
