sme, if you graft a Zed stem on to any other front end it will more or less bolt straight on,
BUT there are a couple of things to beware of, 1. fork length...... most modern forks aren't as long as zed forks (especially upside down), couple this with a smaller 17" wheel & you'll have a very low front end & poss suffer wheel/exhaust clearance under braking.
2. Yoke Layout, if you look at your Zed yokes from above you will see that the stem/fork positions form a nice 'deep' triangle. Look at modern yokes & you will see they have a 'wide, flat' triangle. Problem here is your fork legs will tw*t the tank, so you move the lock stops..... Then you have a supertanker turning circle
