OK, knowing the forum proved wisdom... :D
somebody could tell me the exact model of this bike?
The owner is a widow and don't know much, she believes it's a 1976 model imported from USA -the side cover reads KZ900 so it could be- the mods are very coarse but I think it could be a good bike to build a classic actualization -the japan way.

don't know much more, I'm going to give it a look late next week
thanks for any thoughts boys

It does look like it was a 76 A4 at one time but you would need the engine and frame numbers to be sure. If your intention is to bring it back to standard the bike would have to be extremely cheap (nearly free) as there are lots and lots of non standard parts on it.

Agree looks like an A4 as a starting place to build a Japanese style modified bike couldn't be better .

only standard bits i can see are engine, carbs, frame and paint set, but that needs painting.

The forks look very long - have they been extended at the top.

Looks like a 16 inch front wheel, GPZ? forks may be correct and look longer due to this.Mind you the top of the forks doappear to have some type of extension at the top yoke, maybe to even up the smaller wheel.

They may be Suzuki wheels, GSX1100ESD?
