Has anyone ever fitted a Z Butt seat unit to their Z1, I have been trying to find a picture but have had no luck so far.

Thanks for any help

Got one on my Drouin project. It's a Z9/1000 unit. They also do Z650 style. Costs around £140 with the seat pad. Look at my supercharged Z1000 in projects for more pics at different angles.

Thanks, where did you buy that one from. The one I am looking at is from NPS Plastics in Blackpool. They sent me the dimensions and the total length was 750mm, yours looks longer and better.

Cheers, I was worried that the one I was looking at would not cover the back of the frame enough to put a light unit in, I see from your project posting this is possible and it looks good.

Thanks again

BUGGER :( . That looks exactly the same as mine from UNATEC. So if i were you i'd buy from NPS. Just looked at my build expense log and i paid £145 with the seat pad included, so maybe NPS are 25/30 quid cheaper for the unit on its own. Think i know where i'm buying my next one from.

It could be that the one you have is far better quality. I will probably find out soon. I am going to take a run through to ZPower in a week or two and that company not much further away.

And Mick, I will try to use the front door
