I have a genuine Kawasaki one still in it's bag which I've been reluctant to put on my bike as I saw one recently on Ebay which sold for £216 so I've been looking for a repro. or s/hand one myself to no avail as yet, I believe Klasmo (who are no more) did have some reproduction ones at one time but didn't have any prior to going bust and I've not found anyone else that do them yet.

You can make a passable repro from a piece of plastic drainage pipe! cover it in rubber sheet looks ok and wont break the bank,,,,,,Cheers Paul J...

I was looking for one of these last year for my kz900ltd and had to go down the ebay used route. When it arrived all the inner silence material had broke up and it looked like biscuit crumbs, not the sort of stuff you want in your carbs. Still the outer black shell is ok, so i will have to hunt around for something to pack it out with.
As I understand it these were fitted to quite down the carb noise and do not effect the running, so im running mine without at present
Now where did I leave my Keys!

they can be run without, the main reason they're liking rocking horse crap is because people used to throw them away to make room under their seat for gloves etc.

mine came with it on though tbh
