Ok had a couple of hours at it today and ended up with engine running ok.
But shouldn't be!

Ticking over nicely and sounds ok.

But

Air screw on 1 turned out further than specified as was 2
3 I think was about normal
4 had to screw all the way home!!!!!!
1 and 4 running cooler than 2 and 3 but maybe that's ok as the inner pots will be hotter.

Ideas it simply doesn't make sense.

make sure the air jet & pilot jet are clear spray some wd 40 in to the jets while they are still fitted to the carbs it should drain out under the slide there is a tiny hole in the carb where you check the slide height .

Thanks guys it's a strange one. I know the slides are all set perfect although adjusted slightly to get them balance with carbtune.

I adjusted all the air pilots using a colour tune and it clearly showed the mixture turning blue as I wound in the jet in on the 4th carb and clearly made the bike run much better.

If I owing it out it starts popping and the plug gets wet.

I guess I need to try the checks from Z

Git replacement rubbers from Zpower. Think the old original were sucking in air causing most of my problems.

So putting carbs back on is always fiddly !! Am I doing it right?

Put clips in to rubbers and push carbs fuly home.
Tighten clips
Puts clips onto rubber boots and fit from inside working out.
Clips always get in the way!
Do you guys Spring your clips on after or put them over the boots and struggle?
