I thought this thread was about Peter asking for tips on getting his bike sprayed. He lives in Germany and perhaps sending his stuff to England is not necessary. I wrote that any competent sprayer can spray it and apply the decals. I don't advocate RS Paints as being anything more than a 'for instance' as a paint supplier, and I'm not sure they could post to Germany anyway. But I'm sure someone in Germany can help with the paint match.
I don't have a problem with Hutch but I don't share the opinions of the majority on here, but that's my business. I am just pointing out that there are more options.
There. Is that clear enough?

Nah, I didn't Mick. Read my posts. I didn't make any criticism of any one person. Just of the 'cut and paste' responses on here to any threads regarding paint. My point was there are always many options and anyone is free to make their choice. I suggested RS paints because I have used them for Polar White and Firecracker red, which were a perfect match on my original paint tanks and good quality Lechler paint - I now buy exactly the same paint from somewhere else for half the price - which I have also posted on here should anyone want to use them.
I haven't ever had a Z1R so have never bought the silver from them, but aparently it's not right as Keith pointed out. That's what a forum is for, sharing ideas and experiences. Sorry to have blasphemed. wait, no I'm not.

you did, making out that any sprayer can knock out a z1r colour scheme and that it doesnt take an extreme amount of skill and knowledge is a direct dig at Hutches skills. if someone told me that anyone can throw some slates on a roof and stuff a bit of lime mortar in between and produce a scantal roof i would tell you to stick your comments up your jacksy. sure anyone can buy a van and stick "BUILDER" on the side and buy some materials but if i looked at it i would see a pile sh't.

its about spray jobs Mal, spraying bike parts, its not meant to be about anybody, thats what im trying to say but you dont seem to be getting it. you come on here saying "YOU" are fed up with this and "YOU" are fed up with that, saying anyone can throw a paint job together, laughing at me when i try to communicate with you, then saying its some how all about me, i think you need to get a grip mate, calm down, its just meant to be about paint jobs

Sorry Mick, I thought it was about your village and you being the only person in Cornwall who could do a roof properly. That was funny.
