Kick starter won't move

I guess if it was on the side stand, in first gear then pushing the kick start or crank around is going to try and move the whole bike, so will appear to be locked I guess. At least your natural reaction is to stop. Mine sadly is to give more pressure. I have to concentrate not to

I have been able to start all my zeds with my hand, not that i do it much like that though. was having a discusion with a guy about his old triumph and how it nearly broke his leg once when trying to start it, so i said you need one of these and started it by hand, he looked a bit p****d off, it has to be warm and with timing set properly it will start, though there is a knack to it though and not really recommended, it does hurt if you dont get it right.

Thing of it was though, it was up on the centerstand( I had to buy one for at the LTD's didn't come with one) the whole time.
As for forcing issues - I've worked on cars since I was 14 and I had broken many many things bits before I finnaly learned to be patient, espeicially with the unknown. The urge to just crank on something is still there though, but then $$$ signs flash before my eyes and I becaome kinder......gentler....LoL.
