Dont think it would make much diff as all they do is help with the emulsification,
the jet in the bottom meters the amount of fuel, good luck trying to find some, will keep a look at for you me self.

Mine only have rows of three holes .

A visual check shows no cracks. Changing the top needle jet later in week so any damage should show up then.

I thought that myself so I've just measured the ones on a set of VM28's I have and from the o-ring seat to the end is 27mm and a rough measure in the casting is very near the same maybe 1mm max clearance so it's possible they have been screwed home sometime without the o-ring maybe. These ones do have 3 rows of five holes so they're probably the right ones.

nrp do carb repair kits with the emulsion tube included it would be worth giving them a call to see if they do one for the z1000 they do a standard kit on there site but not one with the emulsion tube. they do them for the z1300 & Yamaha virago & they are not as popular as a z1000

Beginning to realise that. Going to give nrp a call later today if no joy with them then I will fit the type with less holes but bigger diameter. I should be able to adjust mixture ok. Good news is that I cannot see any damage to needle jet seats or body of carbs
