Pull the clutch in & try it :D

I had a z1000 ltd US model which had the same symptoms - without thinking I pulled the clutch while trying to start it & away it went !!

Result!

Checked the pick up pulse, all ok, decided to see if Z Power had a igniter I could borrow, they had phew, anyway, connected the borrowed item up but let it dangle on the exhaust rather then bolt it on, gave it a spin, result good spark :D , it must be the igniter :?:  then a thought, could the earth not be good enough, so I rigged up a temp earth the the fitted igniter, gave it a turn over and YEEESSSSS a spark, it seems the existing item of pain wasnt picking up a good enough earth through the powder coated batt box. :D

Next step fuel up the bugger, next weekend.

Many thanks guys for all the help and advice given, that what is tops about this forum.
