The Aluminium oxides and the rust reduces to iron.

They use rust and fine aluminum powder to weld railway lines together.
The rust turns to liquid iron joining the ends together !

So try dangling some bacofoil in your tank.

I think only a gynaecologist would stand any chance of using that method

iron mixed with ali is called,thermite,and will burn through anything,and cant be stopped once lit.ive used it before to cut things in half.

I thought that was magnesium? Remember nicking some magnesium ribbon from the school science lesson - and taking it home (with some matches) to mess about with - still have the scars today

Nearly as bad as a burning plastic bottle - with the flaming drips falling down making "whizzy" noises - and sticking to your shoes whilst still alight
