Dont even know what originality means so yes maybe do that over the winter so what do you do just get a small blade type fuse box and where do i get one.

Hi Mikey , halfords or any good accessory shops do them , i done mine about three years ago , and my brothers 650 a few months back , easy to do , i solder the wires into the connectors and then give them a squeeze with the crimper always get permanant connection then , :)

As Kev says, or you can prob buy a purpose made fuse holder for 3 fuses (or 4 can't remember) on the net... somewhere ? thats what I was going to do.

Hello Mikey,

Had the same problem of blowing fuses recently, after days trying to find the problem I traced it to a bare wire which was earthing inside the speedo cover, worth a look

Cheers eddie looked in there mate and the headlight shell, indicator pods, handlebar switches, rear light, tugged on the loom all over the bike and cant make it blow and like i say its been about 4 weeks so adopting the attitude if it aint broke dont fix it but will make the change in the winter to modern blade type fuses.
