Hi Andy
there are not many NOS clutch baskets about these days

Have you thought about rebuilding the one in your engine ?

you can fit a heavy duty backplate and a new set of springs to your original set up but dont forget either way you will have to get the motor out of the frame and split the crank cases to change the clutch basket
It's not broke , just in bit's for a while !

no probs with the light bracket , I know it is safe there with you
hang onto it a while longer and I will pick it up sometime next year when I get the rest of the bike back together

I have also been out of things for a while , not working in Swansea anymore so if you need to contact me then use the number I sent you last year.

With the clutch basket, if you can find anyone with a milling machine and a dividing head then you can get the basket fingers machined back and all equal again that way. So long as the guy doing the machining is switched on and he only cuts away the bare minimum of metal necesary the the job will be a goon un.

I have fixed a few like that over the years but I havent got any access to machinery at the moment otherwise I would be able to sort it for you.
