GPz1100 A2 Fork oil.... How Much?

I need to refil my Geepster forks with fresh oil, problem is, I can't find out how much. I have a Clymer manual & while it suggests around 300 ml for various other models it doesn't give a specific amount for my ZX1100-A2.
I thought what the hell & started to put 300 ml in, but I had only got around 200 ml in before oil started to come out of the air balance hole, & yes the forks were extended! Odly enough, when I emptied them there wasn't a lot of oil in them in the first place.
So, anyone know how much should go in

same amount that came out,did you not catch old oil so you could refill the same. at this stage i would put about 200ml in ,try them,if need more out drain some,till it feels ok.

244 mL when completely dry.
Approx 210 mL at oil change.
