Chain length - modified Lawson and splitter/rivetting tool

#1 PostAuthor: martinz1000r » Wed Jun 17, 2009 5:37 pm

How do I measure what length of chain I need? Back end is ZRX 1100 swinging arm. Can't use the old chain as it has gone missing somewhere.....

Can anyone loan me a chain splitter/rivetting tool please? They appear to cost a fortune and I guess it is not something that will see regular use.

Thanks in anticipation!

Taffus you are a star! I'll drop you a PM with address as soon as I get a chain sorted. Obviously happy to cover postage costs for you.

Come others - I know there are other ELR out there with same mod so please go count the number of links you have...

Martin, it is 116 links on a 530 ZRX chain, it has a ZX10 front sprocket with 10mm offset.
