blimey, me again :D i recently bought a micron fork brace that was fitted to a z1000a2 thinking it would plop straight onto my z1a, but b;gg;r, it wont fit around the mudguard,i think there is a difference between the early and late forks. looking at pictures it seems the dust shield is higher on the z9a4 onwards, could anyone confirm this. or am i bonkers.

The forks underwent a major change after Z1B. A4 through to Mk2 were all pretty similar. J and after are different again and about 2 inchges longer as well.

The micron brace that came with my a2 did not fit properly , it came with loads of washers between the leg clamps and the brace itself , so i made up spacers out of a piece of billet ally i had , still used to shake it's head at about 80 mph though then i put a damper on it and voila i have done 120+
and no shakes now , not on apublic road though
