I have had a 1000 ltd before but cant remember these two cross brackets behind the headstock (not present on A1/A2) what are they for, can I cut em off I mean.

Baza, I don't believe these are a standard fittings. I agree with PJ that they are for coils. By the look of the brackets, they were made to support Dyna coils with the outer holes (Dyna coils have two positions/ adjustments for coil mounting) or longer than normal coils. This is a bit of a wild guess, never the less it would explain the brackets.

coils was my initial thought but the original mounting brackets are below, my problem is that my parts are an hour return trip away and I have limited storage space so this is going to be a long drawn out build. I was looking for someone ith a ltd Treg 1000 to confirm.
