Defo not an advocate of "Scotoiler" systems, Bigmac.......
You summed it up well.... 'O' rings negate the need for them really... They are just more complication & weight on the bike....
If you wanna keep a modern chain in good nick... clean it regularly with proper 'O' ring friendly cleaner & then lube with appropriate oil
Or get an ST

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
Regards to the chain, if they last 10,000 or 50,000 miles not a problem just really would like to know what the life expectancy for a standard chain is? If my chain needs replacing after 10,000 miles and they normally last double then what am I doing wrong? What can i do to extend the life? Not sure I started asking this question
But bloody informative anyway, keep it up chaps.
