Clutch Cable Route

#1 PostAuthor: bollypne » Mon Mar 23, 2009 1:08 pm

Hi all, I have a little issue with my clutch cable. Seems a little long, i also have another cable which is approx 4" shorter but seems too short. So, am i routing the cable wrong? I have a Clymer manual and a Haynes and i dont seem to be able to find the cable route. Current cable routes from the left casing, up the left chassis upright and because it seems to long exists in front of the Speedo and is visibly higher than the clocks and not exiting under the speedo. Now thats probably not too good of an explanation.

I'm using standard bars, and the bike is 76 Z900-A4

Thanks
Colm

Hi all. I got the bars and the cable at the same time from z-power, cable was matched with the bars during sale. Maybe my routing of the cable is out. Ideas welcome.
