Hi.
Does anybody have a "530, 18 tooth, 13 spline, 15mm(5/8 inch) offset," front sprocket to fit the Z1, Z1A, Z1B, Z900, Z1000A1/4, H, and Z1R that I could borrow to set my chain alignment on my project.
I am waiting for Debben to recieve a new batch from their suppliers but that is 4 or 5 weeks away.
This is major hold up time.
Cheers

Hi Gus
I just spoke to Z1 Enterprises about the 530 stuff - seems they have it all in stock - might be your quickest option to shop there - use priority airmail - should reach you in 7 working days at the outside.
Check their website - their front sprockets are 'un-bossed' but they supply all sizes of spacer to give you the offset you need

15mm is a big old offset though - you got a tractor tyre on there or summut?

Hi MaineKZ.
Yeah they are quoting JT sprockets sizes and they don't do the offset.
It would seem if you fit a spacer there is no room left on the output splines to mount the sprocket so the sprocket has to have an integral offset.
Thanks anyway.
I just need it to get passed the 180 tyre on the single sided VFR tractor.

I have a Debben 16 tooth off set sprocket on the Harris, this misses the 180 back tyre if that helps.
I have a 630 chain though, and a Fireblade backwheel.
If you are going to use a 18 tooth 530 front sprocket what rear sprocket are you going to use, I think I still need to go up on the front sprocket size a bit, although it seems to compare well with standard gearing.

Thanks for the reply.
I know that the 15mm offset will clear the tyre but until I have something on the front I don't know how much to move the rear sprocket inboard to be in line.
I haven't calculated the gear ratio of a standard Z with that of a VFR rear end.
When I built my Geep motored Z1000 with the Bandit back end I fitted a 17 tooth front and had to go down quite a few teeth on the rear to compensate so this time I am going straight for the 18 tooth front which Ray Debben tells me is good for about 3 teeth on the rear.
Did I make any sense there????????

Just had a thought, makes a change.
I should have a 15 tooth 630 sprocket from a GPZ somewhere if thats any good.
Not a 15mm off set and not the right pitch, but if its any good.

I don't think it would fit because the gpz is a different spline arrangement but thanks for the offer.
