KZ 1100 Rear Wheel

#1 PostAuthor: conor998 » Fri Oct 03, 2008 3:23 pm

Does anyone know how to up the gearing on a kz1100 shaft drive?
It has a 16" wheel, would a wheel from a 1000ST make any difference?
Or is there any other mods that can be made?
The bike is revving way too hard at 80 mph plus.
This is a bike I'm thinking of buying to use as a hack as its a bit tatty but running well.

Hi All,

Made a mistake on first post,
The 1100 has a 17" wheel and I beleive a 1000st does too.
Is this true?
Any Ideas of how to change the gearing yet??

Cheers

Z1100A has a 16" rear wheel.

Z1000ST has a 17" rear

Z1300 has a 17" rear, but the final drive is on the other side [right]
