If it's an import, do you still have all the American emission control crap attached? That won't help.

What plugs are you running?

What carbs?

Pods or standard airbox?

Ignition system used?

If we ever have a nice weekend again, Raglan would be a pleasant ride, providing there's a cup of tea at the other end

If you're ever this side of the bridge feel free to pop into sunny Pensford and I'll take a look at yer bike, and CB might even make yers a cuppa

Hello Zedrider, the Import LTD had a 16 inch back wheel as std, which would give it better acceleration but less mph, what gearing has been fitted ? (rear sprocket size and front sprocket size). Perhaps at some point somebody has fitted different sprockets, what revs are you doing at 80mph? This is the first thing to check and easier/cheaper to resolve than looking for lost power, if the gearing is ok then its on to looking for lost/more power, Regards, Steve

As a blind guess, if you're running pods the main jets may be too small and she's running out of fuel.
