Tyre help

#1 PostAuthor: atomic_duck » Fri Jul 11, 2008 12:23 pm

My KZ1000 C4 Police bike currently has Michilin 110/90 V18 on the front and a 120/90 on the rear. I would like to fit some whitewall tyres but can only find 120/90. Would it make a noticable change to the handling if i fitted 120 both front and rear.

A wider front tyre will make the steering slightly slower/heavier and may also affect stability.
Check the wheels for the rim width, then go on from there.
For a 110 tyre you need at least a 2.15 rim.
