plastic chain guard

#1 PostAuthor: z2.john » Tue Jul 08, 2008 8:00 pm

The chain guard changes part number (36014-045) for Z1/Z1A to part number (36014-061) for Z1B/Z900.
Anyone know what the difference is? Look the same to me.

It might be due to the chain oiler as fitted to Z1/Z1A whereas the Z1B had an 'O' ring chain fitted :?:

John....I'm fairly sure the width of the chain guard is slightly wider on the Z1B to cater for the o-ring chain. To be honest though, I haven't actually measured the difference between the two.
