Fitted center stand to my A2 today (cheers chrisu) but it was hitting the chain is this cuz i have a harris 4 into 1 and the stand stopper isnt there from the standard pipes? ive fashioned a small discreet bracket just to rest on the stand from the harris can to keep the stand off the chain

Hi Mikey, spot on it normally goes against standard exhaust.
I just put the centre stand on at home when I am working on the Bike.

I made a small bracket off the silencer mounting point which drops down a couple of inches and then angles inwards with a rubber buffer bolted to it.

I had the same on mine when I had the Harris on it...although mine was supplied by Bernie so it cost an arm and both my legs lol

Which reminds me I must drag the Harris out, give it a clean up and stick it up for sale at some point

I put a new 'arris on my A2 years ago and that came with a sorta lop sided cross shaped bracket to stop the stand hitting the chain.

I spent nearly a whole day fashioning bitz o stainless for the Old Gurl as a zorst /stand stopping bracket. Work o bloody art that no one ever sees :D
