Z2 Block

#1 PostAuthor: jonhunt » Mon Jun 09, 2008 4:43 pm

I have a Z2 engine, at least the casings are Z2 marked. However the capacity mark on the block is 903. Anyone know if Z2s had a specific 750 mark or did they use the same casing & just machine it differently?

sounds like someone has built a 900 in to the 750 crankcases,750 crank has a shorter stroke 58mm the 900 66mm,so just fitting the barrels of the bigger engine wouldnt work
Got the Rex, just the Kat to get now...

Jon, it coulds have had a Z1-900 crank-shaft fitted. Which would make it work, your Z2 motor work as a 900cc.
