#1 PostAuthor: ZED1-18again!! » Tue May 20, 2008 12:42 pm

Hi all, could anybody run thru the motions 4me as regards to carb-synch please, are there any special tips or quirks?? Am using Carbtune Pro2 gauges, does carb no3 remain fixed, as datum point? Doesnt seem to have adjuster like other carbs? Carbs are std VM28sc with big drainplug underneath, OE airbox, on stock Z1A, cheers guys :??

Firstly make sure the valve clearances are spot on, the air filter/s are good, and that the inlet rubbers are 100%.
Warm up the engine.
Firstly, syncronise No1 & No2 carbs together. Then No3 & No4. Finally syncronise sets 1&2 and 3&4 together. Repeat as necessary.

Check the chokes while you got the vac gauges still connected.
