What a shit day,
The one thing my nice Z1R needed was the chrome cover that goes over the seat lock on the tail section of the Z1R
I picked one up at Stafford in October and have been putting the day off when i had to carefully remove it from the old tail section i bought and fit it to my nice tail section--- then i would be job done!
Anyway i got it carefully off the old one and was deliberately taking my time to fit the fiddly little thing to my nice tail section when "ping, graunch, fruick!!!!!!!!!" i broke it.
I beat the cat 1/2 dead and the wife said we don't have a cat --it was next doors!
Anyway- i spoilt my own day
Does any one have one that i could buy or trade for something you might want?
Any help will be appreciated

Im guessing here but if you have only broken the little prong that holds the return spring thats not the end of the world go to your local flying model shop and buy some small bore silicon tubing that they use as fuel tube on the ic engines try and get thick wall tube.
Discard the spring push a length of tube over the pin after you have put the cover in place on the Tail piece, The tube should be a tight enough fit and will hold it nicely in place however it will not spring shut you will have to open and close it by hand.
It worked for me
Let me know if you struggle to get the tube ive got some here
