Z1B bits, and info !

#1 PostAuthor: paulypaul » Tue Apr 29, 2008 4:02 pm

Hi all, thanks for the info on the carb rebuild kits, ordered one from NRP at 4pm last Thursday, on me doorstep 10 am next day ! Just ordered a set of indicator mounts from Z Power, then its off for MOT ! A couple of questions tho first, There's no seat lock or catch on my Zed, will it fail the MOT without it, as the seat won't be secure ? and if it will fail, has anyone got a spare for sale ? 2nd, I think that some one in the past has changed the engine in mine, number is Z1E 066070, and I think it should start Z1F ? although probably wrong lol! All help gratefully recieved.

When are the Midlands meets startin up again ?

Paul.

seat should be ok unless its flapping about. put a bungee over it so it wont move, the engine should start z1E the E means engine and the z1F on the frame is for frame. hope this helps.
