Digging the trusty Z out for a spin down to the Ace I noticed that the rear chain has got a split link in it. It's probably a legacy of some lazy bugger not wanting to do the job properly, I want to replace the chain and reckon I may as well replace the sprockets at the same time. What do you guys recommend
chain wise ? Thanx for the help, regards Neil.P

Neil, for more info on "O" and "X" ring chain, take a look at www.didchain.com
Four pipes rule, anything else is second best.
If you are still running a 630 how about considering the change to 530. B & C do a conversion that includes the spacer for the front sprocket.
The 530 are easily up to it. I have only adjusted mine twice in 3,000 miles and found benefits such as better gear change and less noise. Chain brand is Tsubaki X ring by the way.
