I am ready to fit the clocks bracket. It has the vestiges of some foam to support the instruments, which has long since rotted away, which would explain why the clocks were a tad wobbly.
Any known source of a suitable replacement foam? How thick should it be? There's no part number given in the book, so I guess there's no "off the shelf solution"

I have just cut some out of 2mm black neoprene and it is easy to cut and does the job nicely and will last forever.
If you want some then PM me your address I will put a piece in an envelope for you because I have a little left over. It also has self adhesive backing making it a piece of piss to 'fit'.
In the meantime you could cut some paper patterns out to make it dead easy to mark out the neoprene when it arrives.

That's very kind of you.
You have PM ... (unlike my missus who has PMT groan - I'll read this all hungover tomorrow and regret what seems funny now

Many thanks Paul
Arrived this morning, I'm gonna run downstairs right away and fit it!
It'll be good therapy for my hangover!
Thanks Paul; you're a gent

Many thanks for that. All fitted and works a treat.
