Got a new front brake light switch as mine hasnt got one, thought it would come with a washer but it hasnt and looking in the parts book there does not seem to be one, is this right? Do I just screw it on or do I use any kind of sealant?
Secondly got some nice PMC billet half moons to put on am I alright just using a bit of blue hylomer on them or should I use something else?
Thanks

Not sure about the brake switch, But I dont think I would put sealant on it as it may contaminate the brake fluid, Try it dry first.
With regard the the half moons, I often use green hermatite on stuff that wont be removed continually, it sets like harder and is more pressure resistant. (Its used i high pressure steam envioronments).

Steve R, The brake switch has no washer as it is a tapered thread, which does the sealing. as Kwakerz1 suggests, use only a sealant that won't contaminate brake fluid. I use a very small amount of anti-seize, that would not come in contact with the fluid, if I use any at all.

I'm about to fit my half moons - I thought I'd use silver RTV.
